    A December to Remember !

    'Tis the Holiday Season, so we shall start with the Holidays both large and small...

    First the major ones.

    Dec 7th is Pearl Harbor Day
    Dec 7-15 it's Chanukah
    Dec 10th is Human Rights Day
    Dec 21st is the Winter Solstice
    Dec 25th is X-Mas

    Now for some of the lesser known days

    Dec 1st is eat an apple day
    Dec 4th is bathtub Day
    Dec 8th is Brownie Day
    Dec 9th is Pastry Day
    Dec 11th is Noodle Ring Day
    Dec 12th is Ding A Ling Day
    Dec 16th is Chocolate Covered Anything Day
    Dec 18th is bake Cookies Day
    Dec 20th is Games Day
    Dec 21st is national Hamburger Day
    Dec 28th is Card Playing Day

    There will be a Full Moon on Dec 26th, should help to light up the sky a bit that whole weekend [img]wink.gif[/img]

    As well All Know some events Carry Over From November into December like...

    The Festival Of Lights at the Zoo

    Holiday In Lights at Sharon Woods

    The Holiday Fest at The beach

    The Holiday Display at Krohn Conservatory

    Holiday Junction at Union Terminal

    The Trains at Cinergy

    The Holiday Displays Downtown on the square and at the Westin and Cincinnatian

    The Holiday Event at The Newport Aquarium

    Amongst others (I'll fill the rest in later).

    I have plenty of stuff to mention, but there are a few that start right at the first of the month so for that reason, they go up first.

    The Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival Precsents "Jacob Marleys Christmas Carol" Dec 1-23 Call 381-BARD for showtimes and ticket info

    The CelebriTrees exibit will be at the Corner of 4th and race De c3-12 from 10-6 daily. Admission is free.

    The Playhouse In The Park Presents "A Christmas Carol" Dec 1-30. Call 421-3888 for tickets and info

    The Ensemble Theatre presents "Sleeping Beauty" Dec 1-8. Call 421-3555 for more info.

    At The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame they will have a holiday event for kids 3-12 on Dec 11th. Admission is $5 and it runs from 10-5

    As for more Carryover evenmts.
    The Lights At Pyramid Hill run through December and I'm pretty sure light up middletown does as well.

    Dec 18th at the Taft Theatre it's "Jingle Bell Rock"

    the Annual reigndog parade is Dec 11th at 2 pm in Mt Adams, registration begins at 11:45
